Our Story: From Kenya to Oregon

Francis's journey with coffee began in the vibrant highlands of Kenya, where the rich, volcanic soil produces some of the world’s finest coffee beans. Growing up amidst this coffee paradise, Francis developed a deep appreciation for the art and science of coffee cultivation.

In pursuit of new horizons, Francis moved to Oregon, where he met Maya. The two quickly bonded over their shared love for coffee and a vision of creating a brand that would bring the luxurious taste of Kenyan coffee to the world. They started a family, and as their dreams grew, so did their plans.

When the pandemic hit, Francis left his profession to focus on Exilior full-time. His initial plans to open a coffee shop were dashed, but he turned this setback into an opportunity. With a passion for excellence, Francis began roasting coffee at home, sharing his creations with friends and family. Word quickly spread, and Exilior was born.

Two years later, Exilior has grown beyond their wildest dreams. We are proud to announce that Exilior is now B Corp certified, reflecting our commitment to ethical practices and sustainability. We are also excited to share that our first physical location will open in 2024 in Dundee, Oregon, bringing our luxury coffee experience to even more people.
